Yeah. Total strawman argument there on both fronts.

One, there are a lot of places to go for electric vehicles, including cheaper ones.

Two, he's been publicly slimy for at least a decade. I didn't care two licks about him until he went and tried to steal the spotlight and play hero on the Thailand cave thing. Then I realized what his shtick is. Everything else makes sense with that context.
